TRANSFORMATION

by | Feb 14, 2025 | Blog, Facelift

The Year of the Wood Snake in 2025 represents wisdom, transformation, and personal growth, with the wood element adding flexibility and renewal.

Happy New Year to you. And happy Valentine’s Day.

I know it’s already February. Once the summer school holidays are over, even those still dragging their feet are back at their desks. The cogs keeping things in place are engaged; wheels are turning.

Wheels, cycles, seasons… flexibility, transformation and renewal: What do we have control over?

Beauty

Natural beauty is in everyone. It’s our birthright to be loved for who we are.

Cultivating loving kindness is the best way to emanate an attractive glow. Literally, good vibes travel and attract others to you.

So, we have choices we can and do make with regards to our thoughts and actions daily.

Likewise, we each have choices about how we contribute to our sense of good health and wellbeing.  The way we feel and the way we look often mirror each other.

The Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift

Many people consult with me about the deep plane face and necklift surgery.

No.1, into the next decade

In 2011, I was the first surgeon in Australia to perform this nuanced, highly advanced procedure. Now that I’m into my second decade of performing the deep plane face and neck lift, I continue to stay across the international and local educational forums – meeting with other surgeons who perform this procedure. Upskilling and educating, is all par for excellence.

Structurally sound

When we are embarking on any type of change, it’s important to have solid foundations.

That’s why I perform the facial surgery procedures that are considered the most difficult to perform. When performed well, deep plane face and necklift surgery is the most structurally sound type of facelift.

  • Compared with other techniques, there is usually less downtime and swelling with Deep Plane Face and Necklift surgery.
  • The skin doesn’t look pulled as the patient’s own ligaments are re-tensioned and re-positioned.
  • Jowls, loose skin on neck, loss of definition around cheekbones and jawline are all areas that can be addressed.
