Lunch Hour Makeovers: Fast as a Gel Manicure

During the hour some people spend eating, shopping, or having a manicure, patients at our Bondi Junction practice are revitalising their appearance with a Lunch Hour Lift, or, as some people call it, a liquid facelift.

A liquid facelift uses injectable dermal fillers to lift up and fill in the cheeks, jaw line, and under eye area. Obviously, this is much less invasive than a surgical facelift. Non-surgical patients don’t go under general anaesthesia or have large incisions. This speeds up the treatment time itself and the healing process, too. There’s also none of the bruising and swelling associated with a standard facelift.

The Lunch Hour Lift vs. Facelift Surgery

I don’t recommend a lunch hour lift for everyone. This treatment is most appropriate for women who are just beginning to experience signs of ageing (35-45), and don’t have the loose or drooping skin of an older woman. For them, a lunch hour lift can slow down, though not stop, the hands of time. Liquid facelifts are temporary, not permanent solutions.

For women with more advanced signs of ageing, I am likely to recommend a traditional facelift or one of the many cosmetic surgical procedures we offer, including eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and brow lifts.
