You’re Invited

Time is precious.
How we choose to spend our time says a lot about who we are.
As well as seeing patients in consultation and performing facial plastic surgery procedures, I regularly speak at conferences and events.
Taking part is about sharing my knowledge and expertise while staying connected with colleagues and other specialists including plastic surgeons, ENT surgeons, dermatologists, oculoplastic surgeons and various industry experts.
Being the best for you, means staying abreast of the field.
Recent Events
It was an honour to be asked to co-convene the Facial Plastic Surgery programme for ASOHNS at the 15th Asia Oceania ORL-NHS Congress in Brisbane in March 2023.
The programme included:
- Rhinoplasty Dissection Course
- Specialist Facial Plastic Surgery lectures
- Specialist Rhinoplasty lectures
I contributed to all three areas as a Surgical Demonstrator and Guest Lecturer.
I was also invited to present at 48 Hours of Otolaryngology, an event hosted by the University of California, Irvine, Asan Medical Centre and UKE Hamburg.
My talk was on Deep Plane Facelift, Neck Lift and Browlift.
I also demonstrated nuances and techniques in workshops.
Upcoming Events
- World Society of Ophthalmic, Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Conference, Dubai, UAE, 5-7 May 2023 where I’ve been invited to speak on Brow Rejuvenation.
- The Global Masters, IMRHIS, Berlin, Germany, 29 June – 2 July 2023, where I’ve been invited to speak on Revision Rhinoplasty.
I don’t say yes to every invitation. Like you, I balance vocational, family, social and other commitments. Choosing where to devote your precious time and energy is one of the keys to a life well lived.
Your invitation
Today I invite you to consider what matters most to you.
- What are your values?
- Where and with whom do you devote your precious time?
We can’t buy back time. And we can’t stop the clock.
What we can do is make decisions about where we focus our time and energy. With attention to healthy living, we can enjoy life more fully.
From a baseline of health and wellbeing, it’s also possible to look more the way you feel.

You don’t need to accept every wrinkle, hooding over the eyelids, dark circles, jowls and crepe-like skin (“turkey neck”) with grace and equanimity.
Being true to yourself may mean that you do, or it may mean that you don’t. The correct way facing forwards in time, is yours to choose.
Self-reflection is my invitation for you to consider.
