Beauty is in the Skin

Whether you’re considering undergoing a facial plastic surgery procedure or have already undergone one, excellence in skincare is essential.
Over a decade ago, together with Cosmetic Physician Dr Gabrielle Caswell, I developed a range of cosmeceutical skincare to address sun damage, pigmentation, ageing skin and acne.
Eyra Care was recently featured in CosBeauty, showcasing our Luxé Hydration 0.5% Pro-Retinol Renewal Cream.
We created this specific formulation to repair and renew skin damaged by excess UV exposure. (The appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and pore size are all indicators). It is lipid balanced to moisturise and provide the ideal environment for healthy skin microbiome. The 0.5% pro-retinol encourages cellular turnover with maximal barrier repair. Soothing botanicals (including aloe vera, avocado, shea and cocoa butter) help calm and moisturise the skin.
Dr Caswell and I developed Eyra Care to provide a level of skincare that we felt wasn’t commercially available, made in Australia, at a more accessible price than many cosmeceuticals. When my patients need help with skincare in support of their facial plastic surgery journey, I may recommend selected products from Eyra Care.
Other skincare products in the Eyra Care range include:
- Eyra Care Daily Active Moisturiser
- Eyra Care Clarity Serum 18% AHA Clinical Strength
- Eyra Care Acne Serum
- Eyra Care Active Cleansing Scrub
- Eyra Care Crystal C 10% Ascorbic Acid
- Eyra Care Anti-Ageing Night Serum
- Eyra Care Pro-Retinol 1% Renewal Cream
- Eyra Care Nightly Intensive Repair with Niacinamide
- Eyra Care Anti-Ageing Night Repair
- Eyra Care Cream Cleanser
- Eyra Care Renewal Cream Pro-Retinol 0.5%
- DermaGoddess Mineral Bases
Optimum skincare is a uniquely tailored process that also requires attention to making healthy lifestyle choices. The nourishment you feed your body (such as fresh, in season, locally grown, organic fruit and vegetables), ensuring adequate hydration, enough sleep, daily exercise and minimal stress all help improve your overall health and skin radiance.
Regardless of what products my patients use for their skincare needs, one thing I always stress is the need for adequate sun protection. This includes applying sunscreen, wearing hats and protective clothing. Everyday choices add up over time.
