Deep Plane in the Frame

by | Dec 20, 2023 | Blog, Facelift

Two weeks later… Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift and Brow Lift

Note:

  • The jawline and neck contour.
  • There is no pulled look or redundant neck tissue.
Every patient is unique.

However, the tell-tale signs of an ageing face are common.

These include:

  • Skin laxity
  • The formation of jowls (where the skin is visibly looser along the jawline)
  • Hooding of the eyelids
  • Sagging skin and muscle in the neck
  • Overall, less definition in appearance.

The Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift is an advanced procedure that addresses these concerns.

I introduced this procedure to Australia over a decade ago, having trained directly with Dr. Neil A. Gordon in the USA.

Now I train other surgeons and share my experience.

I have a growing waitlist of patients who are booking in to learn more about the Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift.

The Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift can be combined with other procedures. I also performed a brow lift on the patient pictured here.  “Hooding” of excess skin has been addressed, alongside the subtle changes to the neck, jawline, and cheekbone contours.

The results are subtle (not obvious) and, while recovery protocols must be adhered to, there is less downtime compared with other facial plastic surgery procedures since the patient’s own ligaments are re-tensioned and repositioned. Scarring is less visible as incisions are made by the hairline which is easily covered.

While recovery time tends to be less, results of the Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift are generally longer lasting.

If you would like to make an appointment to see me (with referral from your GP) please don’t hesitate to contact us.
