I regularly attend prestigious international conferences as an invited speaker and am active in our Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPS) faculty meetings locally.
Recent meetings I’ve presented at include:
- The Australian of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery (ASOHNS), 75th Annual Scientific Meeting, and Otolaryngology, Head and Neck, Nurses Group Inc. (OHNNG) Annual Scientific Meeting, Sydney, Australia, 28-30 March 2025. I gave presentations on achieving excellent outcomes in Rhinoplasty and Deep Plane Facelift. The conference was well attended, and my lectures were well received by an enthusiastic audience.
- Facial Reconstruction and Facial Rejuvenation Dissection Course, AAFPS and ASOHNS pre-meeting, Sydney, Australia, 27 March 2025. I was a co-convenor, with Dr Catherine Meller and Dr Sim Choroomi, of this course at Sydney hospital. We had a great faculty including international experts, Dr Azizzadeh and Dr Katherine Fedder as well as local experts, Dr Tuan Pham, and Dr Hubert Low.
The course was a great educational success showing amazing treatments for patients with devastating facial palsies.
- Global Masters Rhinoplasty, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, 10-13 March 2025.
This meeting brought rhinoplasty experts from around the world to discuss the latest techniques. I gave five presentations on complex tip management and was the surgical assistant for Dr Richard Davis, one of the great innovators of modern rhinoplasty, in his live surgery demonstrations. There were only two other Australian presenters, Phil Jumeau and Peter Callan, attending this prestigious world event.
