4th Open Structure Rhinoplasty Workshop – Success

Attending conferences, seminars and workshops is essential for every specialist.
It’s important to keep on top of the latest developments in your chosen field and exchange information and ideas with other professionals.
With this in mind, four years ago Associate Professor Richard Harvey and I established the annual Open Structure Rhinoplasty Workshop at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, in order to share our knowledge, experience and teach nose surgery techniques.
Through the combination of presentations and workshops offered our overall aim is to help improve the standard of surgery being offered.
This year’s event, held on 25 February, was a ‘sell-out success’. Plastic surgeons, ENT surgeons, specialists and registrars from Australasia and Canada attended. I presented on several topics this year, including this one on Nasal Tip Refinement.
I’m also looking forward to presenting at Rhinoplasty, Form and Function, at the annual meeting of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery being held in Adelaide later this month.
